|Get excited Clairemont!|
|Thank you so much for your support of our 29th Decatur Holiday Marketplace! It wasn’t easy to hold this event virtually, but with your help and the devotion of our artists and community, we had a successful marketplace.
We know it’s hard to believe, but it’s time to start thinking about next year’s marketplace. Next year is a very auspicious year, as we will be celebrating our 30th year! In order to make this happen, we need YOUR help! We need to begin to form committees to begin getting next year’s event up and running. Don't worry, you will not be alone. Many of the alumni who have helped make this event so successful over the last few years, have committed to helping these committees in any way they can. Here are our volunteers opportunities:
1) Marketplace chair and co-chair
2) artist committee
3) transformation committee
4) fundraising committee
5) advertising and PR committee
6) decoration committee
7) cafe and bakery committee
More information about each of these committees will be coming in the upcoming weeks. If you have any interest or question please reach out to Tiffani Edney (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Our favorite part of Clairemont is that we are a community, We are Crew. Together, we can make another successful marketplace happen.
|Clairemont Community Day 2020 was a huge success! Thank you so much for everyone that came out on that cool Saturday We got so much work done on our lovely school. and it was so wonderful to see old and new faces. For those that couldn't come, we will have another one this spring for sure!|
We are CREW! The PTA loves our Bulldog students families.
|What We Do|
The PTA works to enhance the educational experience of all Clairemont students by supporting teachers and staff, organizing fundraisers for items not covered by the school budget, and planning and hosting community-building events. Our main fundraising events are the Read-a-Thon and The Decatur Holiday Marketplace which is in its 27th year. Through our fundraising efforts, we support many offerings and initiatives including teacher and parent grants, field trips for all students, facility enhancements, and various community-building events.Who We Are
The Clairemont PTA includes families and teachers affiliated with Clairemont Elementary School, working together to build community through school events, committees, and initiatives. Our Board is made up of Clairemont parents, along with our Principal, Dr. Curtis Armour, and two teacher representatives. The Board meets once a month to discuss upcoming events, goals, needs, and concerns raised in the Clairemont community.
Our meetings are open to the public and if you would like to attend to bring up a fundraiser, idea, or concern, please contact the PTA Board.
