Decatur Holiday Marketplace
|Thank you for all your hard work to plan and execute the 30th Anniversary edition of Decatur Holiday Marketplace. It was a very successful event and that is all thanks to our volunteers and our wonderful teachers who allowed us to use their rooms. We hope you were able to make it to the event for some shopping and eating. The food trucks were a hit and our vendors were very pleased and complimentary of how well the show was run on Friday and Saturday. |
If you see these people - give them a big "Thank You" for leading the charge:
Melissa Godbee Sarah Charlton
Yinka Kerr Wairimu Magua
Meghan Davidson Laura Simms
Gus Godbee James McNeil
Jamie Murdoch Susan Camp
Alli Anderson Tamara Miller
Naya Hakim Michele Hlavsa
Extra special appreciation to Mr. Carlos Williams who spent much of his weekend keeping to school looking great!
Thanks for letting me be a part of this special Anniversary event!

Dear Clairemont Community,
|What We Do|
The PTA works to enhance the educational experience of all Clairemont students by supporting teachers and staff, organizing fundraisers for items not covered by the school budget, and planning and hosting community-building events. Our main fundraising events are the Read-a-Thon and The Decatur Holiday Marketplace which is in its 30th year. Through our fundraising efforts, we support many initiatives including teacher and parent grants, field trips for all students, facility enhancements, and various community-building events.Who We Are
The Clairemont PTA includes families and teachers affiliated with Clairemont Elementary School, working together to build community through school events, committees, and initiatives. Our Board is made up of Clairemont parents, along with our Principal, Dr. Curtis Armour, and two teacher representatives. The Board meets once a month to discuss upcoming events, goals, needs, and concerns raised in the Clairemont community.
Our meetings are open to the public and if you would like to attend to bring up a fundraiser, idea, or concern, please contact the PTA Board. We meet once a month beginning in August to discuss school needs and issues.
