Read-A-Thon

Welcome to our 2022 Spring Read-a-Thon! 

What is this?

This is an opportunity to read as many minutes as you can beginning on Friday, April 21, 2023 and ending on Thursday, April 27, 2023. You can read to yourself or have someone read to you!  Any minutes that you read count!  When you are finished reading for the day, record your minutes here in your online campaign OR on your daily paper log sheet (and if you are using the paper logs, don't forget to bring them to school the next day!).

Why are we doing this?

For fun, of course!  Reading is so much fun and can take your imagination to incredible far off places and worlds.

This is also a friendly competition!  Your class is working together to read the most minutes every day.  Every morning, the minutes that you read from the day before will be counted, and winners will be awarded  in each grade to the class that reads the most minutes, as well as the class with the highest percentage of students participating! This is a big deal and your teacher will get the honor of wearing a fabulous Reading Hero cape!

So open those books and get ready to start reading, Bulldogs!!!
